Privacy & Confidentiality

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Vosa (“we”) offers language coaching with a human coach and an app. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

How we use it

Keeping your sessions confidential

Your conversations, recordings, and messages are visible to your coach and to the people who run Vosa, only for the purpose of supporting you. We treat them as confidential.

Sharing

We rely on trusted technical providers (hosting, speech processing, email) who process some data on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention & your rights

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can ask to see your data, correct it, or delete it at any time — just write to us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

How to delete your data

You can delete your Vosa account and the data tied to it at any time. There’s no cost, and you don’t have to give a reason.

Steps

  1. From the email address on your Vosa account, write to hello@vosalearning.com with the subject “Delete my data.”
  2. Let us know the account (email address) you’d like deleted. Writing from that address helps us confirm the request is really yours.
  3. We’ll confirm we received your request, delete your data, and email you once it’s done — within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What we delete

What we may keep, and why

If you only want to remove part of your data, or you have a question first, write to us at the same address and we’ll help.

Governing law

Vosa is a service operated from the United States. This policy and our handling of your data are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; nothing in this section takes those rights away.
